ABOUT SRHR ALLIANCE UGANDA
The Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Uganda is a consortium of organisations that stand for and promote young people’s SRHR. The SRHR Alliance Uganda is composed of organisations with a strong niche, expertise, and experience in key aspects of SRHR programming for vulnerable and marginalised groups of adolescents and young people (10-24 years). The Alliance envisions a society where all young people have equal access to SRHR information and services to make informed life choices. Our mission is to strengthen SRHR partnerships and networks that inspire young people to live healthy and productive lives.
The Alliance is seeking the services of professionals to fill the position of Advocacy and Communications Coordinator as per the job descriptions presented below.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Officer will be required to work closely with the Programs Officers, Programs Coordinators, the Programs Manager and the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator. This position will work as part of the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance programs coordination role for her eight founding members, affiliate members and partners. This includes developing, updating and coordinating monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities and events at the SRHR Alliance Uganda, building the capacity of the SRHR Alliance Uganda members and partners in M&E, and promoting Monitoring Evaluation and Learning knowledge transfer internally and externally. The position will ensure that Monitoring Evaluation and Learning systems and capacity building effectively serve the SRHR Alliance Uganda, members and partners in the country, adhering to SRHR Alliance Uganda’s guidelines and policies.
