SRHR ALLIANCE

HISTORY

The SRHR Alliance Uganda was founded in 2011 as a loose coalition of partners to implement the United for Healthy Tomorrow program that was funded by the
Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affair in partnerships with Rutgers, AIDS Fonds, Simavi, dance4life, IPPF and Choice. Since then, the Alliance members have jointly implemented two other programs including Access Services and Knowledge (ASK) in Eastern and Northern Uganda as well as the Get Up Speak Out (GUSO), which was implemented in Busoga sub-region.
For the last 9 years, We have built a strong niche in engaging duty bearers and SRHR sector actors across international, national, sub-national and community levels to influence policy developments and social environments that promote
access to SRHR information and services. We have also gained vast experience and created innovative approaches that ensure delivery of quality, inclusive, responsive and youth-friendly SRHR information and services.
