ABOUT SRHR ALLIANCE UGANDA

The Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Uganda is a consortium of organisations that stand for and promote young people’s SRHR. The SRHR Alliance Uganda is composed of organisations with a strong niche, expertise, and experience in key aspects of SRHR programming for vulnerable and marginalised groups of adolescents and young people (10-24 years). The Alliance envisions a society where all young people have equal access to SRHR information and services to make informed life choices. Our mission is to strengthen SRHR partnerships and networks that inspire young people to live healthy and productive lives.
The Alliance is seeking the services of professionals to fill the position of Advocacy and Communications Coordinator as per the job descriptions presented below.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The advocacy and communications coordinator will be responsible for implementing SRHR Alliance Uganda’s vision focused advocacy and communication strategies. Working with the SRHR Alliance Uganda’s management team; the coordinator will also be responsible for managing and protecting the reputation of the organization using different platforms and avenues to influence national, regional and international policies, public opinions and health behaviors of young people.
