ABOUT SRHR ALLIANCE UGANDA
The Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Uganda is a consortium of organisations that stand for and promote young people’s SRHR. The SRHR Alliance Uganda is composed of organisations with a strong niche, expertise, and experience in key aspects of SRHR programming for vulnerable and marginalised groups of adolescents and young people (10-24 years). The Alliance envisions a society where all young people have equal access to SRHR information and services to make informed life choices. Our mission is to strengthen SRHR partnerships and networks that inspire young people to live healthy and productive lives.
The Alliance is seeking the services of professionals to fill the position of Advocacy and Communications Coordinator as per the job descriptions presented below.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Youth Coordinator will be responsible for promoting efficient, effective and meaningful youth engagement and
participation across all Alliance programs. The role will spearhead the coordination and strengthening of youth-led
initiatives, ensuring young people are actively involved in program design, implementation, advocacy and decisionmaking processes. The Youth Coordinator will also work to consolidate and amplify the youth movement within the
Alliance and across Uganda, fostering inclusive participation, leadership development and strong collaboration with
internal teams and external partners.
