ABOUT SRHR ALLIANCE UGANDA
The Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance Uganda is a consortium of organisations that stand for and promote young people’s SRHR. The SRHR Alliance Uganda is composed of organisations with a strong niche, expertise, and experience in key aspects of SRHR programming for vulnerable and marginalised groups of adolescents and young people (10-24 years). The Alliance envisions a society where all young people have equal access to SRHR information and services to make informed life choices. Our mission is to strengthen SRHR partnerships and networks that inspire young people to live healthy and productive lives.
The Alliance is seeking the services of professionals to fill the position of Advocacy and Communications Coordinator as per the job descriptions presented below.
PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The purpose of this research is to examine the nature, sources, and impact of misinformation on young people’s
sexual and reproductive health knowledge, attitudes, and decision-making in Uganda, and to provide actionable
recommendations to address the misinformation challenge.
DURATION AND TIMELINES.
The consultancy is expected to be completed within 30 working daysfrom the date of signing the contract. A detailed
timeline will be agreed upon during the inception meeting.
REPORTING AND SUPERVISION
The consultant will work under the supervision of the Monitoring, Evaluation and
Research and Learning Coordinator at the SRHR Alliance Uganda.
Ethical & Risk Considerations
The consultant must adhere to strict confidentiality regarding all information, data, and findings related to this assignment. Ethical considerations, especially when engaging with vulnerable populations, must be prioritized
throughout the research process
